The eagle is most known in Native Culture. For some tribes it was a messenger, nothing (in the old times) could fly higher than the eagle. He was the one who came close with the Great Spirit. For others he is known as Thunderbird. His wings made the thunder and lightning comes out his eyes. Only Natives are allowed to wear the feathers and they are used in many dances, headdresses, clothing, as a status symbol and so on. Every nation has his stories.
